Vickie Braun
Vickie Braun began her career after earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University. She has been an Occupational Therapist for 35 years and a therapy manager for 21 years. She has worked in many settings including acute care, outpatient, home health and skilled nursing facilities.
Vickie assisted in starting up a 25-bed program for patients with traumatic brain injuries. She has specialized in providing services to patients with orthopedic injuries and neurological diagnoses. She has earned a certification in modalities and received an Executive Certificate in Home Modifications. Vicki has also worked with the Veterans Administration on research projects focused on interventions to help improve family caregiving of older veterans.
As Director of Rehabilitation for Salude, Vickie leads her skilled team of rehabilitation therapists to deliver the best possible therapy experience and outcome to every patient in her care.
